Poet Natasha Sajé will host a writer’s life interview, public reading and book signing Thursday at Lyon College. The interview will be at noon in the Alphin Board Room of the Alphin Building, while the public reading and book signing will be in Bevens Music Room.

Sajé was born in Munich, Germany and grew up in New York City and northern New Jersey. She earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, a master’s degree from Johns Hopkins and a doctorate from the University of Maryland.

Sajé’s first book of poems, “Red Under the Skin,” won the Agnes Lynch Starrett Prize and the Towson State Prize in Literature. She is also the author of a second poetry collection, “Bend.”

She is a professor of English at Westminster College in Salt Lake City, and has been teaching in the Vermont College M.F.A. in Writing Program since 1996.
