BATESVILLE, Ark. - Lyon College has rescheduled Fine Arts Day for Feb. 26.
The event was originally slated for Jan. 15. The next spring semester Honors Day competition remains and Feb. 26.
Fine Arts Day is an event for high school students who are interested in the fine arts. Students will have the opportunity to visit with art and music professors who can answer all of their questions about what Lyon can offer them. There will be sessions that explore studio art, musical performance, and composition. After the morning sessions there will be plenty of time for portfolio reviews and musical auditions for fine arts scholarships.
Honors Day is an an event open to students accepted at Lyon College and having either a 3.25 GPA or better or an ACT composite score of 23 or better. Honors Day is a four-part competition that gives prospective students a chance to earn scholarship money including full tuition, room, board, fees and books.
