Soup's on at art benefit

BATESVILLE, Ark. - Come by St. Paul's Episcopal Church on Feb 5th from 10 am to 2 pm to purchase yummy soup ($7 per quart). A big thanks to all of the local restaurants and cooks who donate soup for this event. Advance tickets sales are available at the Batesville Area Arts Council Main St. Gallery, and from any BAAC board members. Buy early to reserve your soup! Proceeds go to BAAC, the Main Street Gallery, AIE programs, and the BCT.

BATESVILLE, Ark. – Old Independence Regional Museum invites all area teachers, college faculty, and school administrators to a preview of the nationally touring exhibit "Draw Me a Story: A Century of Children's Book Illustrations." This come-and-go event will be held on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 from 3:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. and is free with school identification. For more information, call (870) 793-2121.
