LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- It's that time of year again! Little Rock Fashion Week is just around the corner, and prospective models are coming from all corners of the state for their chance to walk the walk at the big event.

The LRFW 2011 Model Search is May 21-22 at Moody Chapel AME Church (5630 Mabelvale Pike) in Little Rock. THV's Lauren Clark is one of the judges for the event, and she sat down for a chat with Executive Director Brandon Campbell about what to expect at the audition.

LITTLE ROCK, AR – The Old State House Museum will mark Arkansas’s 175th Birthday with two events on Saturday, June 11, 2011, and Wednesday, June 15, 2011.

Travel Back to 1836

To observe the 175th anniversary of Arkansas statehood, the Old State House Museum and Historic Arkansas Museum are recreating life in 1836 Arkansas with a joint living history event, "175 Years of Arkansas Statehood" on Saturday, June 11, 2011. The fun will begin at the Historic Arkansas Museum with living history demonstrations highlighting everyday life in Little Rock at the time of statehood. Visitor can participate in dancing, military drills, and 18th century chores from 9 am to 12 pm.

At noon event participants and visitors will parade from the Historic Arkansas Museum to the Old State House Museum, where Arkansas’s admission to the union will be commemorated with a 26-gun salute and the raising of a 26-star U.S.

Divas Dressing Darlings is an event The Compassion Fashion Project is planning in conjunction with Little Rock Fashion Week and THINK Magazine to benefit the non-profit, Little Dresses for Africa.  We are simply asking guests to please come and bring pillowcases that will then be sewn into little dresses.

PRICECREW ready for Big-Time

PRICECREW is made up of four brothers from Jacksonville, Arkansas. Philip-24, Zachary-21, Jacob-15 and Caleb-14; Caleb was barely two years old at that first performance but he still knew the right way to move. The crew has been singing and dancing ever since. There is something special going on when four brothers from Arkansas can sing, dance and put on a show the way PRICECREW can.

Throughout the past few years the brothers have grown to understand it takes hard work and dedication to accomplish what their dreams hold. They have played countless venues and are always looking for ways to improve their act, as well as pushing themselves to make the best music they possibly can.

Over the years they have performed at the local festivals and venues, including Riverfest and Magic Springs' Summer Concert Series, gaining popularity throughout Central Arkansas.
