Parents talk business, have fun at fair
BATESVILLE, Ark. -- The Southside School District will host its Community Parent Fair from 3-6:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 15, at Southside Elementary.
Representatives will local agencies, programs and businesses will be on hand to talk with attendees. Free promotional items, information and door prizes will be available.
Free health screenings including those for vision, blood pressure, blood sugar, height and weight, and stress reduction will be offered by students in UACCB's nursing program. The Arkansas Game and Fish Commission's 1,000 gallon mobile aquarium will also be on disply. For more information, call the Southside Parent Resource Center at (479) 251-4024.
