GOP's Rick Crawford tops Dem Chad Causey in 1st District
News

With Crawford's victory, Republicans will now occupy three of the four Arkansas seats in the U.S. House, as well as one of the two Arkansas seats in the Senate. The 4-2 GOP majority in the state's total congressional delegation is the first such majority since Reconstruction.

Crawford owns a farm-news network for radio broadcasts, while Causey was formerly chief of staff for Democratic Congressman Marion Berry, who chose not to seek re-election this year.
Green Party nominee Ken Adler was a negligible factor in the 1st District race.
